Desiree Gruber is the founder, president, and chief executive officer of Full Picture, a thriving multimedia agency with offices in New York and West Hollywood. A lifelong enthusiast of fashion, art, culture, entertainment, and technology, Gruber started Full Picture in 1999 with a mission to bring together the traditionally separate fields of public relations, production, and management. Named one of Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Entrepreneurs of 2010, she has played a key role in building some of the world’s most reputable brands and properties, including Victoria’s Secret and three Ian Schrager hotels. She is also responsible for guiding the career of Heidi Klum, among others, and creating the hit TV show Project Runway, for which she has received a Peabody Award and eight Emmy nominations.
Besides running Full Picture, Gruber serves on the boards of God’s Love We Deliver and the US Fund for UNICEF in New York. She has been honored with an official Mayor’s Proclamation by the City of New York for her professional and civic achievements.
