Sandra Kim, the Everyday Feminist

Sandra Kim is the founder and executive director of Everyday Feminism, one of the fastest growing feminist platforms on the web. Everyday Feminism launched its online magazine in June of 2012 and subsequently added a podcast, forum, and online courses in April of the following year. The online magazine currently attracts an average of 400,000 visitors each month.

Kim, who leads a team of about 20 writers, believes personal transformation and social transformation are interdependent; thus, she brings an inside-out approach to feminism. She also brings a broad range of skills to the table from her experience working with trauma survivors, social change, and healing and personal transformation. Additionally, Kim attended the Coaches Training Institute (CTI).

Prior to Everyday Feminism, Kim was the manager of institutional development and consulting associate at management consulting non-profit Management Assistant Group. She also fulfilled the role of senior venture associate at Ashoka: Innovators for the Public.
