Lisa Day Evans is the creator of Squeeky Knees, a line of children’s clothing with built-in knee pads that make squeaky sounds when babies crawl. Evans got the idea for Squeeky Knees in the summer of 2009, shortly after her first child, Elijah, began crawling. Elijah’s knees would get red from crawling on hard surfaces, so Evans went in search of some type of baby knee pads. When she couldn’t find what she was looking for, she decided to make her own, and Squeeky Knees was born.
Made in the USA, Squeeky Knees products include boys’ and girls’ leggings, pants, legwarmers, and accessories made from excess fabric. Squeeky Knees are specifically designed to provide comfort, protection, and fun for active little ones. Babies love the sound, which also alerts parents and caregivers of the child’s activity.
Squeeky Knees has been featured in Shark Tank, Pregnancy & Newborn, Hudson’s, and various blogs.
