Ryan Shea is a co-founder of OneName, a company that allows its users to create their own profiles known as digital passports. Each user’s profile can then be used to receive and spend bitcoins, or digital currency, across the web.
He co-founded OneName in June 2013 in the Greater New York City. He has helped raise $1.5million in seed funding so far. He and his partner plan to introduce a new log-in system.
Shea is also the co-founder of GraphMuse; he co-created it in June 2012 and he stayed until March 2013 when he sold it. GraphMuse was an invite system that increased invite and signup rates for online sites through Facebook connect.
He was also a software engineer at ZocDoc, where he built its new consumer-facing product; it automatically completed patients’ medical forms. He also co-founded Now I Need in November 2009.
With so many experiences under his belt at such a young age, Shea still has plenty to offer the world!
